Hockey Play, Posing and Care
Ready for the Ice
The coordinated jersey, hockey pants, skates, and helmet give Barbie a complete player-inspired appearance. Arrange the uniform carefully before play, and make sure the helmet sits securely without pressing it forcefully over the doll’s hair.
Hockey Match Stories
Children can create warm-up sessions, passing drills, penalty shots, team matches, and championship scenes. The puck should be moved manually with the included stick on a flat, smooth surface, as the set does not include an ice rink or electronic playing feature.
Poseable Sports Action
The doll’s articulated body supports different hockey-inspired positions, including holding the stick, preparing for a shot, and celebrating with the trophy. Adjust the arms and legs slowly while supporting each joint to avoid unnecessary pressure.
Trophy Celebration
The trophy adds a simple award ceremony to the play experience. It can be used for team celebrations, tournament stories, or display beside the doll. Store the trophy and puck together because both pieces may be easy to misplace.
Ice-Skating Alternative
The Barbie Careers brunette ice-skater doll offers another winter-sport character for skating routines, competitions, and performance stories. It is sold separately and includes a different outfit and accessories.
Snowboarding Adventures
The Barbie Careers snowboarder doll expands winter storytelling beyond the rink with a separate snow-sport theme. Its equipment and fashion are designed for that doll and should not be assumed to fit this hockey player.
Olympic-Inspired Display
The Barbie Inspiring Women Kristi Yamaguchi doll provides a collector-focused ice-skating option inspired by the 1992 Winter Olympics. It has a different purpose, presentation, and recommended display style from this play-focused hockey doll.
Wider Sports Team Play
The Barbie sports career dolls set adds four sports-related roles, including a general manager, coach, referee, and reporter. These separately sold characters can support larger tournament and team-management stories.
Compatibility and Storage
The uniform and equipment are intended for this curvy Barbie body type, so fit with other dolls may vary. Avoid forcing the helmet, skates, jersey, or stick onto dolls with different proportions.
Cleaning and Care
Wipe the doll and plastic accessories with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Allow all pieces to dry fully, keep the fabric uniform away from rough fasteners, and store the puck, trophy, helmet, and stick together after play.
