Collector Display and Care Guide
Traditional Styling and Annual Collection Appeal
The 2022 design combines a dramatic ruffled silhouette with colorful printed details and floral accents. Collectors comparing annual releases can also view the Barbie 2023 Día De Muertos doll to see how the fashion, color palette, and presentation changed in the following year. Displaying editions separately can make those yearly design differences easier to notice.
Calavera Face Paint and Floral Presentation
The calavera-inspired face styling is supported by the flower crown, long dark hair, and decorative dress details. Buyers building a mixed-character display may also consider the Barbie 2024 Día De Muertos Ken as a related option. Before display, check that the hair, headpiece, and small decorative elements are positioned naturally and are not pressed against nearby items.
Display Placement and Packaging Care
For boxed presentation, keep the package away from prolonged direct sunlight, moisture, and areas where the display window can easily be scratched. The Barbie Día De Muertos 2020 doll can also help create a chronological display of different releases. Leave some space between boxed dolls so package edges and printed surfaces are not rubbed during handling. The 2022 release is presented in illustrated display packaging.
Dress, Hair and Decoration Care
The ruffled skirt and floral styling should be handled gently because repeated pressure can flatten layered fabric or disturb arranged details. Avoid aggressive brushing around the headpiece and do not use harsh cleaners on the face or clothing. Collectors interested in another interpretation of the theme can explore the Kris Goyri Día De Muertos doll while keeping each doll in a dry, dust-controlled display area.
Building a Focused Día De Muertos Barbie Display
This 2022 edition works well within a focused Día De Muertos Barbie collection because its royal-purple dress and floral styling contrast clearly with other annual designs. The Barbie 2023 Día De Muertos x Pink Magnolia doll offers another related direction for collectors wanting variety within the same theme. For a cleaner presentation, arrange dolls by year, collaboration, or color palette rather than placing too many pieces on one shelf.
