Collector Display and Buying Guide
2020 Día De Muertos Styling
The 2020 doll has a softer blush and embroidered presentation than some later releases, giving collectors a clear reason to view it within the annual series. Shoppers building a year-by-year display can also explore the Barbie 2022 Día De Muertos doll to compare how the color palette, fashion details, and overall visual treatment changed across editions.
Compare Later Barbie Editions
Collectors who prefer a later interpretation can compare this release with the Barbie 2023 Día De Muertos Barbie doll. Keeping each edition identified by year is important because dresses, headpieces, face decoration, and packaging artwork vary, and those differences are often the main reason buyers choose one release over another.
Add Ken to a Día De Muertos Collection
The collection can also be expanded beyond Barbie herself with the Barbie 2023 Día De Muertos Ken doll. Placing Barbie and Ken editions together can create a balanced themed display while still allowing each doll’s clothing, decorative details, and packaging design to remain visually distinct rather than treating them as interchangeable products.
Compare Newer Día De Muertos Releases
For shoppers interested in newer releases, the Barbie 2024 Día De Muertos Ken provides another relevant option for comparing yearly styling. When displaying different editions together, arrange them by year or character and leave enough space between boxes so the front artwork, dress details, and facial designs remain easy to see.
Designer Collaboration Option
Collectors looking for a designer collaboration within the same broader theme can also view the Kris Goyri Día De Muertos doll. This gives buyers another relevant comparison without changing the identity of the 2020 product. Each release should be checked for its exact outfit, artwork, packaging, and included documentation before purchase.
Display and Care
Keep the doll and packaging away from prolonged direct sunlight, excess humidity, and rough handling. For boxed display, avoid pressing objects against the clear front panel or decorative edges. For an unboxed display, handle the embroidered dress, crown, hair, and face decoration carefully and avoid harsh cleaning products that could affect fabric, paint, or decorative finishes.
